Installation Guide

Product Includes

Marble plate, diamond-cut dimmer knob, and mounting accessories.

Installation Steps

Important: Use a hand screwdriver — not a power drill — to insert and secure the screws. Marble is a natural stone, and the torque from a power drill can crack or chip the plate.

Step 1: Turn Off the Power
Before starting, make sure to turn off the power to the switch at your home’s circuit breaker or fuse box to ensure your safety.

Step 2: Remove the Old Cover Plate
Use your screwdriver to remove the screws holding the old cover plate in place. Gently take off the cover plate and set it aside.

Step 3: Take Out the Old Switch
Unscrew the screws securing the old switch to the electrical box and gently pull out the switch.

Step 4: Disconnect the Wires
Carefully disconnect the wires from the old switch.

  • If the wires are wrapped around the screws, loosen the screws to free the wires.
  • If the wires are inserted into holes on the back of the switch, you may need to use your wire stripper to cut and strip the wires.

Step 5: Connect the Wires to the New Switch
Attach the wires to the new dimmer switch.

  • If there are screws, wrap the wires around them and tighten the screws.
  • If there are holes, insert the stripped ends of the wires into the holes.

Step 6: Secure the New Switch
Carefully tuck the wires back into the electrical box and secure the new switch to the box with the provided screws.

Step 7: Attach the New Cover Plate
Place the new cover plate over the switch and secure it with the screws.

Step 8: Turn the Power Back On
Once everything is securely in place, turn the power back on at the circuit breaker or fuse box.

Step 9: Test Your New Switch
Rotate the dimmer knob to make sure it’s working properly. If everything is installed correctly, your lights should brighten and dim smoothly.

If you have any doubts or if anything seems amiss, don’t hesitate to call a professional electrician. Safety comes first!

    FAQ

    Questions, Answered.

    What's the faceplate made of?

Genuine natural marble, honed to a smooth matte finish, paired with a solid brass dimmer knob.

    Which marbles are available?

Calacatta Viola, Rosso Levanto, and Guatemala Green, each with its own veining.

Is it compatible with LED lights?

Yes. It uses Triac / leading-edge dimming and works with most dimmable LED, incandescent, and halogen bulbs.

    Is it UL listed?

Yes - the dimming module is UL listed for the US and Canada.

    How does it dim?

A smooth rotary brass knob gives precise, tactile control - turn to set brightness.

    How do I install it?

It fits standard US 1-gang boxes and installs in minutes. Use a hand screwdriver only - a power drill's torque can crack the marble.

Will each plate look the same?

No. Natural veining and tone vary piece to piece, so every dimmer is unique.

    What's the max load?

    150W LED / 250W incandescent per switch at 120VAC.

How do I care for the marble?

Wipe with a soft cloth and avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners. An occasional natural-stone sealer helps in damp areas.

    Is professional installation required?

It wires like a standard dimmer, but if you're unsure about electrical work, we recommend a licensed electrician.
