Step 3: Install Mounting Hardware or Fixture Housing
For recessed and trimless designs, insert the housing into the ceiling cavity and secure it with spring clips or fasteners. Trimless models may need joist framing for proper support.
Semi-recessed fixtures partially install into the ceiling and are secured per the included instructions.
Surface-mounted downlights attach directly to the ceiling surface or an existing junction box using screws and wall anchors.
Track fixtures require the installation of a compatible track system first. The fixture then locks into place on the track.
Step 4: Connect the Wiring Match the fixture wires to the ceiling wires:
