Installation Guide

Product Note

Product includes one solid marble wall plate only. No electrical components included.

Installation Steps

Important: Use a hand screwdriver — not a power drill — to insert and secure the screws. Marble is a natural stone, and the torque from a power drill can crack or chip the plate.

Step 1: Turn Off the Power
As a safety precaution, turn off the power to the outlet or switch area at your home’s circuit breaker, even though you're only replacing the plate.

Step 2: Remove Existing Plate
Use a screwdriver to loosen and remove the screws on your current wall plate. Gently lift it away from the wall.

Step 3: Inspect Underlying Devices
Confirm that your dimmers, toggles, outlets, or other modules are properly secured and undamaged.

Step 4: Position the Marble Plate
Align the new marble plate over the existing devices, ensuring all openings fit cleanly around the controls.

Step 5: Insert Screws
Use the included matching screws to secure the plate in place. Start threading gently by hand to avoid stripping the screw holes.

Step 6: Do Not Overtighten
Tighten the screws just enough to hold the plate snugly against the wall; overtightening may damage the marble or wall surface.

Step 7: Check the Fit
Make sure the plate sits flush, and all device cutouts are aligned for easy access and smooth functionality.

Step 8: Restore Power
Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker once you confirm everything is secure and properly positioned.

Step 9: Final Polish
Gently wipe the marble surface with a soft cloth to remove any fingerprints or dust from handling.

If you notice any misalignment or feel unsure, consult a licensed professional.

    FAQ

    Questions, Answered.

What is the Stone Plate made of?

Genuine natural marble, honed to a smooth matte finish. It's solid stone, not a coated or printed look-alike.

Which marbles can I choose from?

Three: Calacatta Viola (white with purple veining), Rosso Levanto (deep burgundy with white veining), and Guatemala Green (rich green with white veining).

Will my plate look exactly like the photos?

Marble is natural, so veining, tone, and movement vary from piece to piece. Yours will be one of a kind - the photos show representative examples.

Does it include the switch or outlet?

No. The Stone Plate is the faceplate only, designed to pair with our modular switches, dimmers, and outlets.

    Is it hard to install?

No - it fits standard US electrical boxes in a few minutes. Use a hand screwdriver (never a power drill, which can crack stone) and avoid overtightening.

    Can marble crack?

It's durable in normal use, but it's natural stone. Hand-tightening with a screwdriver and not overtightening prevents stress on the plate.

    How do I clean it?

Wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners (vinegar, citrus, bleach), which can etch stone.

Do I need to seal it?

It arrives honed and ready to use. For high-touch or damp areas, an occasional natural-stone sealer helps protect the surface.

    What rooms suit it best?

Entryways, living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and powder rooms - anywhere you'd want a natural, tactile detail instead of plastic.

Does it work with other brands' switches?

It's built around our modular system for the cleanest fit and alignment. Standard US devices generally fit, but our modules guarantee the intended look.
