Description

Batik is defined by the confident simplicity of its silhouette. A generously cushioned seat sits within a broad, curved back that wraps around the sitter, creating a compact and inviting composition. The gentle transitions between seat, back and arms lend the chair an almost monolithic softness. It is an expressive accent piece without unnecessary ornament. The standard chair is supplied with a fixed base; a swivel base can be specified on request. Designed by Alexandre Ligios and handcrafted in Portugal, available bespoke and made to order in any fabric, lacquer or wood finish from the atelier's library.
