Installation Instructions
Product includes brass plate, diamond-cut knob, and mounting accessories.
Turn Off the Power: Before starting, make sure to turn off the power to the switch at your home’s circuit breaker or fuse box to ensure your safety.
Remove the Old Cover Plate: Use your screwdriver to remove the screws holding the old cover plate in place. Gently take off the cover plate and set it aside.
Take Out the Old Switch: Unscrew the screws securing the old switch to the electrical box and gently pull out the switch.
Disconnect the Wires: Carefully disconnect the wires from the old switch. If the wires are wrapped around the screws, loosen the screws to free the wires. If the wires are inserted into holes on the back of the switch, you may need to use your wire stripper to cut and strip the wires.
Connect the Wires to the New Switch: Attach the wires to the new toggle switch. If there are screws, wrap the wires around them and tighten the screws. If there are holes, insert the stripped ends of the wires into the holes.
Secure the New Switch: Carefully tuck the wires back into the electrical box and secure the new switch to the box with the provided screws.
Attach the New Cover Plate: Place the new cover plate over the switch and secure it with the screws.
Turn the Power Back On: Once everything is securely in place, turn the power back on at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
Test Your New Switch: Flip the toggle switch to make sure it’s working properly. If everything is installed correctly, your lights should turn on and off smoothly.
Congratulations! You’ve successfully replaced your US light switch. Enjoy the fresh new look and smooth operation of your new switch! If you have any doubts or if anything seems amiss, don’t hesitate to call a professional electrician. Safety comes first!

Frequently Asked Questions
Will they patina over time?
Our brass light switches are crafted from 100% brass and coated with a clear lacquer, ensuring durability and resistance to tarnishing or corrosion over time. They will maintain their timeless elegance for 10+ years to come, even with regular use.
As a result of the clear lacquer, they will not patina over time. If you have a custom request, we can accommodate you by messaging our support staff.
How do I dim the light?
You must connect the dimmer to a dimmable light, then simply twist the rotary knob to lower the intensity.
If the light does not dim, switch your light to a dimmable light fixture.
Is it easy to install?
It takes less than 5 minutes to replace your existing light switch. Turn off power from the breaker, unscrew your existing unit, reconnect the wires to this new unit, and screw it back in.
We highly suggest an electrician to perform the work if you are unfamiliar. However, this is definitely an easy job for any homeowner.
How many lights can I connect?
Each switch is rated up to 15 amps at 120V. The capacity is 250W.
That's enough to power 25 recessed lights at 10W each.
The lights can bed LED, incandescent, or any other technology as long as you do not exceed 250W, the switch will run cool.
Are they durable?
Our 100% crucible poured brass switch has been tested to surpass all standard metrics:
Rated for 1,000,000+ cycles
Switch weight drop (20 lbs)
Flame testing
Our brass material is capable of handling all household events.
Is this compatible with my lights?
The Brass Rotary Dimmer should be compatible with all types of LED bulbs, Incandescent, or CFL bulbs as long as the bulb is rated for dimmable use.
Do I need a neutral wire?
No. You only need a live wire to pass through. The neutral will connect straight to the light fixture.
Does it support three-way?
Our dimmer currently only supports one-way. The 3-way option will finish production in several months.
Is it smart compatible?
No. It is currently not compatible with any smart home devices.
You can however use smart relays to convert this dimmer into a smart device.
